How are Nic Salts Different to Freebase Nicotine?

Nicotine Salts and freebase nicotine work in the same way, they both deliver nicotine which is absorbed by the body. Nicotine Salts however feature a neutral pH level compared to freebase nicotine, which provides you with a smoother throat hit at higher nicotine strengths and is absorbed by the body at a faster rate. Due to the slow oxidation of nicotine salt, they also have a longer shelf life.

How Do I Use Nicotine Salts?

Nicotine Salts are used the same way as any other e-liquid, however they are typically made with a balanced VG:PG ratio (50/50 split), which makes them excellent candidates for use with pod kits and lower wattage devices. This combination provides you with a mouth to lung style vape. We do not recommend using nic salts with sub-ohm devices, as they have a high PG content and would produce a harsh throat hit, however you can add salt based nicotine shots to high VG e-liquids, making them more suitable.
